GayBarMusic.com
features remixes with specific club/dance appeal often
played in Gay Bars and Nightclubs.
Most of our music could be classified as Hi-NRG, with
strong vocals, and a rhythmic, noticeable beat.
Our style is sometimes referred to as house,
progressive, dance pop, or a "party mix".
Rarely, if ever, will you hear rap, country, R&B,
classical, or other various music styles on our station.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that)
Although a particular song may
appear in various music service top hit charts, it may
not play on our station. We focus on remixes with a
strong gay following, not that of the general public.
Our database of music contains hits from as far back as
the 70's, primarily because these songs, while not
current top hits, still elicit strong dance floor appeal
when played.
On occasion, we feature newly released songs that may
not yet be hits, in order to receive feedback from
listeners; and to promote new artists, labels, or DJ's.
